Super-Rich avocado face mask

avocado-despite its dark green skin and largely greenish inner pulp -is now known to contain a spectacular array of carotenoids. Researchers believe that avocado’s amazing carotenoid diversity is a key factor in the anti-inflammatory properties of this vegetable. The list of carotenoids found in avocado include well-known carotenoids like beta-carotene, alpha-carotene and lutein, but also many lesser known carotenoids including neochrome, neoxanthin, chrysanthemaxanthin, beta-cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin, and violaxanthin.
Avocados are rich with vitamin A which helps to remove dead skin cells from your body. They also contain an amino acid known as glutamine, which cleans and protects your skin from environmental damage.
Everyone knows avocado is good for you, it has been valued as a beauty ingredient for thousands of years. it was used as skincare regimes by the Maya, Aztecs and Incas. The fruit is rich in beneficial oils that will brighten and moisturize tired-looking skin.
150 ml – 1/4 pint Olive Oil
1 Large Avocado
1 Peel the avocado and remove the stone, roughly chop the flesh, place in a small bowl and mash with fork ( you can use a mixer also )
2 Pour enough of the oil over the avocado to make a smooth paste and mix together thoroughly.
3 Apply to the face for at least 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water
